A talisman - yes. Shana Lee hand-carved these feathers in clay - then cast them to sterling silver. She electroplated some in 18K Yellow gold and oxidized the others - to give it an old worn in feel. The waxed string is hand braided by one of Shana’s students. The beads are all handmade - some by us - and some are deer bone - purchased at The Painted Mountain Pow Wow a few years ago.

This is not a light-weight piece - it is substantial.
