This is a hessonite garnet is beautifully rose cut (meaning it is flat backed with a domed & faceted top to the stone).

The color is a rich dark red. It is exquisite, truly.

Size 7 & 1/4 (and because it is wide - it should fit a size 7 comfortably - it can be sized UP to an 8.
